The Seattle Macintosh Downtown Business Users Group (dBUG), the Seattle Public Library, and the local Bellevue office of Apple Computer, in cooperation with General Electric and GE Information Services,  offers free electronic mail to Armed Forces service personnel serving in the Persian Gulf region. This stack was used to ease the interface during the war.
